Disappointing

The air conditioning works well and the wifi too.

The shower is terrible, almost no water comes from it. Also, there are a lot of open spaces in the window, so insects may enter.

for a lowly audience (like us). Very good location for traveling around the Island.

location - chaweng beach first line and not so far from main party area! many plants in the area. very comphortable bed.

only a few employees understood English. the hotel can not be contacted by e-mail or instant messengers. very old bungalows. poor and old facilities. very low hot water pressure apart from breakfast (very poor) the restaurant is closed.

What was the highlight of Chaweng Resort

past its glory days

beach front. bungalows were clean and we had a fair breakfast

none of the staff spoke English and the reception was never available. we were checked in by the security. the hotel is very dated, it looks like it hasn’t been taken care of during the pandemic. all the facilities were closed including no sun beds on the beach.

The bar and restaurant was closed the whole place was sad and poorly maintained probably because of the covid pandemic I'm sure that when things improve it will be a much better experience

sunshine and locals are amazing

the beach how close it was

it’s gone down hill a great deal and the room needs a lot of attention and upgrading including air conditioning to be better . with so many other places offering better sadly we won’t stay there again . use to be a really nice place too such a shame

The bed was huge and comfortable

Very old, would have been lovely 60 years ago... No hot water for 2 days. Had the worst beach-side bungalow, brick wall one side and red and white massage tent in front, therefore only partial beach view. Very disappointing. Room also very dark.

What was the highlight of Chaweng Resort

Nice private bungalows, just next to the beach. Hotel is equipped in private(just for guests and for free) sunbeds. Big, tasty breakfasts. It is possible to rent a scooter from hotel and you may be sure that it is not a scam (for around 200 bht based on scooter condition) - they will not charge anything extra if you return it in the same condition. Also stuff really helpful with checkout: transport service from lomprayah was late and they called in my name to make sure that everything was ok.

Fitness center could be a bit renewed but for me was sufficient as I went there mainly for rest.

it is on the beach. got everything i wanted. restaurants and shops, pharmacy, 24 hours mini market right infront of the hotel. quiet, beach are beautiful clean and not crowded. great for family. bed is soo big and comfortable. room are big.

need to refurbish the room. quite old. small pool ( but who cares about pool when u have the sea right infront if the hotel), breakfast just OK. shower is huge but no hot water for me. not sure about other room. mosquito is a lot. so need to spray every every evening. cockroach, lizards and worm is normal around here. but it is a warm country so u just have to get used to it not a problem at all.

Staff very helpful when there was an issue with our room. Nice pool and free breakfast buffet. Right by the beach too and close to town centre.

On th me second night our room was invaded by bugs but the staff were very good and immediately gave us a new room

Good location. Very run down shabby rude staff

Staff were so rude!! Don’t stay here! Guests are treated like an intrusion in the palace of the owner. The “gym” doesn’t have equipment that works and the staff berated me for stopping while using the treadmill and almost caused me to fall off

Good location, near the beach and shops (family mart, pharmacy, restaurants, massage parlour, rent bike, souvenirs shop) Room was okay (old type) bed is very big, can fit 2 adults + 2 kids. Beach n hotel surrounding is clean. We are lucky that we able to check in at 12pm. Town centre is only 2km away. To find Halal restaurant u need to take/ have transportation (motorcycles is the best choice) cause u need to explore the place to find it. I love the morning jog by the beach.

Staff where brilliant and very helpful!

Sand in the beds! Along with this the showers are cold which for a three star hotel shouldn't happen. Water was yellow in the bathroom which looks like the rain water they are using is getting contaminated somewhere.

Beautiful rooms, great staff who go out of their way to help.and are very friendly, great position close to shops, bars & restaurants. Two lovely pools and right on the beach. Breakfast provided in the cost Ticks all the boxes for me!

The room was lovely big with really good ac right by the beach beautiful setting but

I was covered in flee bites by the time we left, I didn’t realise it at the time sadly or I would have complained
